Two months of Jack

Jack Jonathan Kingston
June 18, 2012

Weight 14 lbs.

Diapers
Size 1

Hair
Growing back in! It still looks like an old balding man, just not as bad. And it continues to lighten up. He just might turn into a blonde baby like his dad was.

Clothes
Zero to three month fit perfectly right now - some are getting too small, some are still too big, just depends on the brand. He fits into some three to six month, too. It's annoying how much the size fluctuates from brand to brand.

This months firsts

>Smiles on demand. Ans it melts your heart

>Cooing like a "big" baby
>Frowns. As in the big pouty bottom lip that a bird poops on. And it's the saddest little frown you've ever seen.
>Becoming much more independent - can spend time alone kicking on the floor
>Rubs his eyes when he's sleepy

Jack likes
Tickles
Daddy's voice
Standing (with assistance, of course)
"Jumping" on mom's lap
Holding onto mom's hair or earring while sleeping
The sound of the TV
---His changing table is on the stand under the TV on the wall in Williston and he will immediately calm down when we put him on there and look up at the TV. He seems so amazed at the sounds coming out of it.

Jack doesn't like

Waiting for milk
Being held by someone sitting down - he loves standing and bouncing
Not much else... he's a pretty happy baby :)

Mom loves

Jack's smiles in the morning - the best way to wake up
That he is such a good baby - taking him places is much more enjoyable now that we understand each other more
Buying clothes for him
Showing him off
Chubby thighs
Knuckle dimples

Dad loves
That Jack smiles a lot more at him than mom

Sitting on the couch, looking out the window with him

See what I mean about those thighs?
:)

I can't believe that picture of him standing. Such a strong little man!! Isn't it so amazing to see them growing? I love that my little Zoey is becoming a lot more independant too. It gives me hope for a less chaotic life... hehe!
